Sage's Story

In the early summer of 2023, Sage and his siblings lost their poor mother at the hands of a cruel human. We stepped in to ensure that her babies avoided the same fate. Thankfully, in the autumn of 2023, Sage found his furever home with Hannah and Michael from Essex, UK! Here's what they had to say about him:

"We adopted Sage about six months ago now. He started out as a nervous pup weighing 13.5kg and has turned into a confident, playful, and loving dog weighing in at over 30kg!"

"We have put a lot of work in (and so has Sage) as he is possibly one of the most stubborn dogs you'll ever meet - attending puppy classes and now obedience classes. Sage loves our trainer, though, and jumps all over her every time he sees her. This is a massive change from their first interaction where he spent most of the time barking at her! His training is going really well, although his teenage rebellion has kicked in, which any dog owner will know is great 'fun'!"

"Despite his nervous start and being warned he may not be the most affectionate, he has exceeded our expectations and loves a cuddle on the sofa now (which he has claimed as his own!)"

"Adopting Sage was the best decision we've ever made, and we could not imagine our lives without him. We would love to adopt another pup from you in the future. We recommend Street Hearts BG to anyone wanting to get a dog as, although it has its challenges, giving a home to a rescue pup has been the most rewarding experience!"
