Jacko is one of the most loyal pups at Street Hearts BG! He's a real 'lap dog' who loves to have a cuddle on the sofa with his favourite people.

Jacko is a sweet and affectionate boy who is already crate trained, house trained, and walks beautifully on-lead! He also settles nicely when left at home alone. Jacko absolutely loves going for a walk and has proven himself to be confident when out in the big wide world. He loves other dogs (and cats, too!) He is so wonderful and well-mannered with all of the dogs at our shelter, and extremely gentle with our resident cats.

Jacko would prefer a quiet, adult-only home with minimal visitors. Although Jacko is fine with meeting new people when out and about, he gets a little worried when meeting new people in his home environment. However, this is easily corrected by simply reassuring him that he's safe. Due to this, Jacko will require gentle introductions to new people.

Jacko's Story

Prior to arriving at Street Hearts BG, Jacko spent his life chained up in a yard. After his owner was admitted to hospital and never returned, he was brought into our care.
