Fergus is a delightfully scruffy, sweet, affectionate, and easy-going young lad who arrived at Street Hearts BG at the beginning of March. He was found wondering by a municipality staff member who captured him using a rope which, sadly, caused a painful injury to Fergus’ neck. As a result of this, the poor boy was initially too scared to begin lead training; however, thanks to the patience and hard work of our staff, Fergus has now overcome his fear of leads. He now walks perfectly on-lead (and can already sit for treats!)
Fergus is medium in size and around a year old. He could live with another friendly and confident resident dog. He has not spent time with cats or children; therefore, homes with cats / children will be considered on a case-by-case basis. He would be best suited to a rural or semi-rural environment.
