Fred *UK based*

Fred (affectionately known as Freddie) is a playful and sweet boy who loves a fuss! He adores being around and playing with other dogs; he'd certainly benefit from living with a canine companion! Fred has shown some separation anxiety and reactivity towards new people / dogs; however, he is currently living with a trainer who's helping him to overcome these minor issues. He's doing extremely well!

Fred's Backstory

Fred was born underneath a car in the village of Dryanovo. He was brought to Street Hearts BG when he was only a few hours old, along with his mum. Whilst at the shelter, Fred was lead trained and socialised by our team.

With assistance from one of our previous rescue partners, Fred found his furever home in the UK during September 2020. Unfortunately, Fred's adopters didn't receive the support and advice that they required from this organisation and, as a result, Fred developed behavioural issues which caused his adoption to fail. He's now in a foster care placement with an amazing trainer and is progressing marvellously.

General Information

Fred's estimated date of birth is April 4th 2020. He is large in size. Fred would be best suited to living with another friendly resident dog. He cannot live with children. Fred has spent time with cats whilst in his foster home and is slowly growing accustomed to them; however, he will need further testing to see if he is cat friendly. He would be best suited to living in a rural, semi-rural, or semi-urban home environment.

As Fred is already residing in the UK, his adoption fee is reduced to £350. Meet-and-greet sessions can be arranged following a successful adoption application and interview.
