Oscar is a gentle but timid soul who needs to live in a calm, rural household with another confident dog.

He is very sweet and loving but is scared of the outside world.  He is currently in foster with other dogs and cats and doing well.  He absolutely loves watching TV and cuddling up with the other dogs.  He needs a calm and confident person to guide him through situations which he is uncomfortable with. 

Once you have built a bond with Oscar he will pay you back tenfold, he is such a wonderful and loving boy.

Oscar's Story

Oscar's mother, Athena, is a previously owned dog who was cruelly abandoned. The poor girl ended up giving birth to ten puppies underneath a bridge. Thankfully, we were alerted to the presence of this little family and brought them to the safety of our shelter.

Oscar's estimated date of birth is October 17th 2022. He will likely be Labrador-sized as an adult. Oscar could live with another friendly resident dog or sensible older children. He has not spent time around cats; cat-testing can be done upon request. Oscar would be best suited to living in a rural or semi-rural home environment.
