Sid

  •

Happy, cuddly, and cheeky - that's how we'd describe Sid!

Sid enjoys pack walks and also individual lead walks. He is very playful in the shelter but also settles beautifully in a crate. Sid loves enrichment toys and an afternoon nap! He can be nervous and a bit barky with new dogs, so he'll need gentle introductions to canine friends. He does loves his food (which will come in handy with his future training) and will happily play the day away! Overall, he is a lovely little chap who would love an adventure-filled life in the great outdoors! He is very clever and picks up training quickly. Sid is a Shepherd mix; we welcome applications from potential adopters with experience of this breed.

Sid recently visited our local town of Dryanovo and was confident whilst walking past moving vehicles and new people. He is progressing well with his lead and 'sit' training.

General Information

Sid's estimated date of birth is February 14th 2023. He will likely be medium to large as an adult. Sid could live with another friendly resident dog. He is a bit scared and wary of small children, so we would not consider rehoming him with young children. This is likely due to the location where we rescued him from, which has a lot of small children who were not kind to him. Sid could live with teenagers; however, due to his breed, he would need to be slowly introduced to new visiting children. He has not spent time with cats; cat-testing can be done upon request. Sid would be best suited to living in a rural or semi-rural home environment.
