As part of our rescue and rehabilitation work, we take in elderly dogs who, for a variety of reasons, have found themselves without a retirement home. Due to their advanced age and medical needs, these old souls are rarely suitable for rehoming, which is why we offer them a furever home at our shelter! Our senior Street Hearts are free to spend their days as resident Sanctuary Dogs, living in comfort and safety, surrounded by a team of loving humans.
What is the Golden Oldies Fund?
Elderly dogs often have a greater number of veterinary and dietary needs than their younger counterparts. The Golden Oldies Fund exists to help Street Hearts BG provide veterinary care, specialist food, and a permanent home for the senior dogs in need.
