Mabel belonged to Jane, our dear friend and supporter, who sadly lost her brave battle with cancer this year. Jane found Mabel on a rubbish tip three years ago and promptly took her into foster care; however, the two quickly fell in love with each other, and Mabel became Jane's companion!

Sadly, Mabel has really struggled since Jane passed away. She's an extremely loyal and loving girl; life without her favourite human is proving to be tough. Thankfully, Mabel is starting to join our pack walks and slowly acclimatising to shelter life.

We hope that we'll be able to find Mabel a new home in the future. However, for now, she will stay at Street Hearts BG until we've managed to heal her broken heart.
