My story

Bobby's story is, sadly, not an uncommon one. He was originally adopted from Veliko Tarnovo shelter back in 2020, only to later be abandoned in a village. His previous owner has been traced and the matter is now with the relevant authorities, but in the meantime, Bobby is safely in our care and ready to find a home with someone who truly deserves him.

He is quite the little character!

Bobby is a fabulous small gentleman with a soft spot for comfort and a clear appreciation for the finer things in life. He's a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely adores a cuddle and will happily accept all of the love you're willing to give him!

He's happiest in a home environment, where he can potter about, keep you company, and settle into a routine. He travels beautifully in the car, quite content to sit and watch the world go by, and he’s confident out and about, including trips into town and visits to the vets.

Bobby walks nicely on the lead, but if he decides he's not going for a walk… then he's not going for a walk. We are working on this, but his future family should be prepared for a bit of gentle negotiation and a sense of humour. It's Bobby's world and we're just living in it!

He gets on well with other dogs, particularly the ladies, but would much prefer to be the only dog in the home so he can enjoy all the attention (and home comforts) for himself.

Bobby can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for him to come round, especially if snacks are involved. He is, after all, a rather enthusiastic foodie.

He could live with children aged seven and above who understand how to behave around dogs, particularly as Bobby does have a slight talent for making a quick exit if a door is left open.

This charming, affectionate, and slightly opinionated little man is ready to leave his past behind and finally enjoy the comfortable, well-deserved life he's been waiting for.
