My story

Cathy is one of the beautiful puppies from our 'Wuthering Heights' litter. She was sadly abandoned in the village of Karaivantsa alongside her siblings, Heathcliff and Isabella, and is believed to have originally come from a local farm. Despite this uncertain beginning, Cathy has grown into a bright, affectionate, and devoted young dog.

Cathy is a fabulous girl with a loving and loyal nature. She forms strong bonds with her people and looks to them for reassurance when she's unsure, making her a deeply connected and rewarding companion. She is friendly and excitable, always happy to see familiar faces, and eager to be involved in whatever her humans are doing. She is also a high-energy girl who would thrive in an active, adventurous home where she can enjoy plenty of exercise and stimulation.

An intelligent and enthusiastic learner, Cathy picks up new commands quickly and is very responsive to training, especially as she absolutely loves her food! She walks nicely on the lead and enjoys getting out and about, and she travels well in the car, making her a great companion for outings and adventures. Cathy does have a natural prey drive, so her recall will require ongoing training and consistency as she continues to learn.

Although Cathy is a naturally nervous girl who can be worried by new situations, she is wonderfully easy to live with in the home. She settles well, loves nothing more than curling up for cuddles with her people, and takes great comfort from being close to those she trusts. She is currently nervous around traffic, and we are continuing to build her confidence in busier environments. Because of this, Cathy is looking for an experienced adopter who can patiently guide her, help her continue to grow in confidence, and support her ongoing training.

She can initially be unsure around new dogs, but with calm and gentle introductions, she soon relaxes and makes friends. Her trusting nature really shines through once she feels safe and supported by her human.

This sweet, affectionate girl is ready to leave shelter life behind and find a loving home where she can continue to flourish. With the right person by her side, Cathy will reward their patience with unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a lifetime of love.
