My story

Jack Sparrow was abandoned outside someone's gate in the sweltering heat. Thankfully, he hasn't let this cruel act affect his beautiful nature in any way!

Jack is a typical happy, fun-loving puppy; playful, energetic, affectionate, cuddly, and mischievous! He loves attention and is always ready for some fun, whether that means playing, exploring, or snuggling up with his favourite person.

Jack only has one eye. His other eye is missing due to a congenital issue, but that certainly doesn't stop him from getting on with life! He was also born with a cute little stumpy tail (a birth defect), giving him an extra bit of character.

He's currently working hard on his puppy training and is learning to walk nicely on a lead, sit for treats, and settle calmly in his crate. He's making a great start, but his education doesn't stop when he leaves the shelter. As with all of our dogs, we expect Jack's adopters to continue his training and help him grow into a happy, well-mannered adult.

Jack has spent time with one of our shelter cats, Dolores, and the two get along well. We would therefore consider a home with a confident, dog-savvy cat. Jack could potentially also live with another friendly, confident dog. He hasn't yet been tested around children, but testing can be arranged on request.

This gorgeous boy has already overcome a lot in his short life. Now he needs a family who will see past his missing eye and stumpy tail, appreciate the wonderful puppy underneath, and give him the safe, loving home he deserves.
