A wonderful match for first-time adopters!
Jessie
My story
Abandoned in a village where she was unwanted and at risk of harm, Jessie is now safe in our care and ready to find the loving home she deserves.
She arrived with us carrying a little extra weight, so she's currently on a diet to get her fighting fit again. She was already lead-trained when she arrived and walks nicely on her lead. She also travels well in the car, is confident exploring busier towns and built-up areas, and takes vet visits in her stride. What a star!
Jessie is fine around other dogs, but she'd prefer to be the only dog in her new home. She's very much a 'people dog' rather than a 'dog's dog' and would love to have her humans all to herself!
She could potentially live with sensible, dog-savvy older children who understand how to treat a dog with kindness and respect. Jessie hasn't been cat-tested yet, but this can be arranged on request.
After such an uncertain start, Jessie deserves a home where she'll be cherished, included in family life, and showered with all the cuddles she can handle!
