My story

Thelma and her sister, Louise, were found abandoned in a village. Some kind people had been feeding them, but they were only visiting the area and knew they couldn't continue to care for the sisters. With no reliable food source and nobody able to look after them, it was clear they wouldn't survive on their own, so we brought them into our care.

Thelma is a sweet, happy, and playful young girl who has been blossoming since arriving at our shelter. She was a little reserved when she first arrived, but as she's settled in, we've seen her confidence grow day by day! She's discovering that the world is an exciting place and that there are lots of people to love and adventures to enjoy!

She's energetic, bouncy, and playful, and also enjoys exploring, going for walks and, of course, getting plenty of attention and affection from her people.

Her training is already underway, including lead, crate, and sit training. Her new family will need to continue the good work we've started and help Thelma keep building her confidence as she grows.

Thelma could live with another confident, friendly dog and / or sensible, dog-savvy children aged eight years and above. She hasn't been cat tested yet, but this can be arranged on request.

This lovely girl has so much potential and we can't wait to see her continue to blossom in a home of her own!
